1 Object / Objects

The '1 Object' command is used to select a single object (or element). After selecting the command, you are prompted to 'Select 1 Object'. Position the cursor on the required element and then press the left mouse button (or <Enter> key) to select it, and the selected element will be highlighted ready for manipulation.

If you choose the same object a second time it is de-selected. If a single element is selected, using the '1 Object' command, then the selection process ends immediately.  By using the 'Objects' command, it is possible to select several elements. After identifying the required elements press the right mouse button (or <ESC> key) and the 'Select' menu re-appears. Here you can terminate the selection process, with the right mouse button (or <ESC> key), or you can continue adding more elements to the selection, e.g. with the 'Window' option.
