The cable browser draws its information from cable management and the databases of parts management and WSCAD codes. It can be opened directly via the menu Automatic funct. / Cable / Browser (compact and professional) or via cable management, as well as with a click of the right mouse button on a cable conductor symbol and the subsequently appearing browser parameter menu.

Bookmarks (All System Location) serve for a better overview in large CPP projects with unit and field codes (UFD).
The columns color code and length can be edited directly or via parts management or code table. For this you double-click the respective field. By clicking on the field part, you start, for example, parts management.

The columns of the table can be displayed or hidden as well as moved at will.
Bookmarks (Page / Path, Alphabetical, Color code) serve for better sorting.
With the field Conductor,
you can directly modify the respective assigned conductor designation
(color code or number). Double-click in the field and you will see a list
of all the conductor designations deposited in this color code.

Here you can see that the currently assigned color is black (-> bk) and that the red conductor designations are occupied. If you select an occupied conductor designation, they will be exchanged. If you select a free color, this will be used instead. In this example, you can see that conductor designations can repeat themselves. In this case, a definite assignment can be achieved through an internal index.
Directly enter the function text for the respective conductor here.
Select individual
conductors by multiple selection in order to resort the conductors
with the Number box in relation
to the internal index. The lowest
index is at the top.

Move to
The function Move to is only active if a conductor has been selected. If after the selection you click on Show, the cable browser closes and jumps to this conductor in the circuit chart.
Show duplicate
The function Show duplicate is only active if a conductor has been selected for which there is a duplicate. If after the selection you click on Show duplicate, the cable browser closes and jumps to this conductor in the circuit chart.
Numbering
The field conductor on the right side of the browser can be automatically numbered if online cable management is switched off. This enables a number-related representation of the conductors in the circuit chart without using the color code of the database. This is also possible in the compact version.
For this purpose, you click on the first conductor that is to be numbered and put in your start number. Then while pressing the Ctrl key go to the last conductor you want to number. All conductors in between are thereby selected. If you now activate the Number box, the conductors will always be numbered by 1 up. If you enter a number in the top conductor field, this will be used as the start number.

If you set the option Browser / Close browser at <Show> on No, the browser will remain visible.
