Since the database formats vary significantly according to the version status of ACCESS, you will need to decide which format you wish to use for the project. This can be set under the menu option Parameters / General configuration / Miscellaneous tab where, via the option Database access compatible with ACCESS 2000, you can select the general format for the databases which WSCAD creates and uses.
Caution
If you process an ACCESS 97 formatted database externally with ACCESS Version 2000, the database may be converted into this format and may no longer be readable.
