Cursor scale is used to enter a scale factor for the drawing. This is more applicable to physical layout type drawings, where equipment, etc., is often drawn to scale. Typical schematic drawings are drawn at a scale factor of 1. Readouts and dimensioning are generated according to the scale. Select the field with a left mouse button click and enter a scale factor between 1 and 1000 (e.g. enter 50 for a scale of 1:50).
Hint
The scale changes only the display co-ordinates and the dimensioning, but does not affect the drawing output size.
