The Control Cabinet Manager of the Professional Version makes the planning of control cabinets easier. Also in the Compact- and Basic Version we design equivalent, realistic and to scale cabinets (with little bit more effort).
Professional-Version
In the Professional Version the 'Cabinet Symbol Explorer' completes the CCM.
In easier cases it is complete enough to draw with the Symbol bar 'Control Cabinet' a standard cabinet and a mounting plate in rectangular shape . In the offered option you define its dimensions in the 1:1 scale.
The units could be redesigned in the CCM in a realistic and scaled front view.
If we have the realistic and scaled front view to our disposal, and is correctly defined in the data base, we can replace it with the CCM button 'Supplements'.
If the construction of the cabinet and its components are more complex we can proper prepare in several elements with the cabinet symbol explorer and then create the components with the CCM.
Basic- and Compact-Version
There is no CCM to our disposal. The cabinet and also in the drawing placed components are single searched with the cabinet symbol explorer and put in the cabinet. The result is the same.
General
If you design a cabinet schematic you have take a page type 'Control Cabinet'.
There are two possibilities:
You create it in the PM
You change the file type of the current page with 'Settings/Options'.
In the page you can adjust the scale factor. All symbols are created with this scale (because therefore we need the scale factor 1:1). Existing complete libraries, which have the scale factor 1:10, can resized in the Symbol Editor with the command 'Change size' in another size. Before converting make copy of your library and
create your own one. With the menu 'Schematic/Load control cabinet symbol' you will easy find your library and change the size with right click menu.

As we remarked in the introduction we can plan our cabinets in several ways. The base steps of a possible case are here:
Change to a page type of control cabinet
Set the desired mode of the cabinet
Per example:
cabinet with door
cabinet with door + mounting plate
etc.
Design the cabinet with accessories
If you work with the Professional- or Compact Version you have to attend to the correctness of the material list! You can lock components in the material list or put in supplements with the dialog add component parameters.
Define the scaled front views of the units in
the desired position!
If you work with the CCM in the Professional Version you save a lot
of time!
Put in the drawing dimensions and text.
